BBBS had a blast at local Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Events

October 2023

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan (BBBSSEM) is grateful for the opportunity to partner with Black Family Development, Durfee Innovation Society, Elevation Youth Corp, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), and Ypscity Print Shop on three Halloween trick-or-treat events over the past week.

BBBSSEM staff and Kevin Parker from Alpha Phi Alpha were able to hand out over 800 pieces of candy, crayons, and other items to Littles, Bigs, and families at these events. BBBSSEM’s partners help to provide these types of fun and learning opportunities for the community.

These events are more than just a chance for kids to get candy. They are also an opportunity for Bigs, Littles, and families to create lasting memories. They are also a chance for BBBSSEM to connect with families and let them know about the resources and support that the organization offers.

BBBSSEM is grateful for the support of its partners in making these events possible. Together, they are making a difference in the lives of children and families in Southeast Michigan.

How you can help
