Meijer Store # 64 Employees Donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan!

November 2023

A BIG Thanks to Meijer Store # 64 employees for nominating and awarding $10,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan!

Meijer has a deep rooted focus on enriching lives in the communities where they serve, starting with their store teams. Meijer team members worked together as a diverse committee to research, nominate and vote on a local nonprofit organization to receive a special one time donation from Meijer and BBBSSEM was the chosen nonprofit! We are so humbled and honored. Les Collins (Meijer Store #64 Director), Catherine Cooper (Senior Director, Community Giving, and Colleen Haiser (Retail Administrative Assistant) all worked with team members to make this happen! Jennifer Spitler (President & CEO) and Amy DeWys (Development Director) were at the store on November 1 to receive the award! Thank you again so much from the BBBSSEM to the Meijer Store #64 Team!

Donors like Meijer help to support BBBSSEM’s numerous programs and activities. Please join them in donating here.

At BBBS of Southeast Michigan, we celebrate the LITTLE moments make a BIG impact.
