The evening was filled with delicious Belgian food, a fun game of feather bowling, and most importantly, the opportunity to connect with amazing people who are passionate about supporting our youth.
A big thank you goes out to all our incredible Ambassador Board Members who came out to participate! These dedicated individuals are all current or former Big Brothers and Big Sisters themselves. They play a vital role in our organization by sharing their personal experiences and helping us spread the word about the positive impact of mentoring.
At the Bigs and Brews event, our Ambassador Board members spent time chatting with both current Bigs and those interested in learning more about becoming a Big with BBBSSEM. Their enthusiasm and firsthand knowledge were truly inspiring, and it directly resulted in 6 new people signing up to volunteer that very night!
This event was made possible thanks to a generous NFL Inspire Change Grant, and it perfectly embodied the spirit of the program. Our Ambassador Board members truly “Inspired Change” by helping us connect with potential new Bigs who can make a real difference in the lives of our Littles.
Over 25 people attended Bigs and Brews, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. We’d also like to extend a big thank you to Cadieux Cafe for their fantastic hospitality! They provided the perfect setting for this memorable evening.
