Site-Based Bigs Needed for Our Madison High School program!

March 2024 | Get Involved

Site-based mentoring is a great way to get involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan if you are short on time or have limited flexibility. It is also a great way to meet other volunteers and be part of a supportive community.

As a site-based mentor, you will meet with your Little at their school for approximately one hour every other week, from 10am-11:05 am at Madison High School in the Media Room.

915 E Eleven Mile Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071

  • March 18, April 8, April 15, April 29 , May 13, May 20, June 3, June 10 (Tentative)
  • June 24 – Virtual Programming Begins

You will be matched with a high school age Little, and together you will choose from a variety of youth enrichment activities that best fit your interests and skills. These activities focus on social skills, communication skills, leadership, and physical activity. Examples include STEM activities, arts and crafts, sports, and hands-on activities.

LITTLE MOMENTS. BIG IMPACT.

As a site-based mentor, you will:

  • Make a difference in the life of a teen by providing them with a positive role model and mentor.
  • Help your Little develop their social skills, communication skills, leadership skills, and physical fitness.
  • Have fun and learn new things with your Little.
  • Be part of a supportive community of volunteers.
