Building Bonds on the Field
The event kicked off with 11 lucky Littles participating in a fun icebreaker activity led by the Alphas. Next, it was game time! The Alphas donned their coaching hats and officiated a thrilling flag football game. Drafted to Team Yellow or Team Red, the Littles showcased their amazing skills and teamwork on the field. In a close match, Team Yellow emerged victorious with a score of 18-14!
Beyond the Game: Workshops for Growth
After the game, the Alphas facilitated two valuable workshops for the Littles. The first session focused on conflict resolution, equipping them with tools to navigate disagreements in a positive way. The second workshop explored the exciting world of careers, sparking conversations about dream jobs and future aspirations.
Celebrating Potential
To end the day on a high note, all the Littles received awesome BBBS swag to take home! BBBSSEM extends a heartfelt thank you to all the Alpha volunteers who dedicated their time to “Defending the Potential” of these incredible young minds.
